Day 1: After you have cleared customs in Belize City you will meet with your friendly driver at the arrival gate who will transport you to the resort where you will spend the next 3 nights. (D)

Day 2: Today you will go out with your guide to the Belize River & surrounding jungles. You will learn about the medicinal plants of the area while enjoying the abundant wildlife & birds surrounding you. Perfect for bird lovers! (B, L, D)

Day 3: This morning you will be accompanied by an expert guide as you take a river cruise tour to explore the mysterious jungle-shrouded temples of this once powerful 3000 year old civilization, the Lamanai Ruins. (B,L,D)

Day 4: After breakfast you will be transferred to your other jungle property where you will you will spend the next 4 nights. On the way you will explore the Belize Jungles and the rivers of the underworld by inner-tube, with only your headlamp to light your way. Ziplining is an optional addition. (B, L, D)

Day 5: After breakfast, explore the trails of the property on horseback and enjoy the flora and fauna of the rainforest. Return for lunch and relax on the river banks while enjoying your afternoon jungle breeze. (B, L, D)

Day 6: Explore ‘Xilbalba’ the Maya underworld at Actun Tunichil Muknal ‘cave of the stone sepulcher’ this journey takes you back in time with an Indiana Jones like experience. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Canoe into San Ignacio like the Mayas did in the ancient days, visit the San Ignacio Market and walk into down town San Ignacio before getting transferred back to the hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 8: Transfer back to Belize International Airport for your homebound flight (B)

Day 2: After an early breakfast, pack your lunches and water and get ready to explore the cave of Actun Tunichil Muknal like Indiana Jones, discover hidden chambers full of Maya artifacts and remains that reveal the rituals and ceremonies of a lost world (B, L, D)

Day 3: Today you will simply do a half day horseback riding tour in to jungles of western Belize where you will learn about the geography, culture, and natural history of Belize. The second half of the day can be enjoyed relaxing or you can do a self-guided hike.

Day 4: After breakfast you will head to Guatemala for your journey into the past as your guide takes you back into the lives of the Maya dating back to 200 AD. After a full day of exploring, you will head back to overnight in your jungle lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 5: After breakfast you will be transferred back to Belize City, where you will board a commuter’s flight for a 15 minute flight to San Pedro. Upon arrival you will be met by a friendly representative and transferred to your beachfront hotel. Optional stop for Cave tubing or the Belize Zoo is available (B)

Day 6: After breakfast, you will head out into the Caribbean Sea for a fun filled day of manatee watching, snorkeling, beach bbq, and much much more! (L)

Day 7: Free day to enjoy and explore the once small fishing town of San Pedro.

Day 8:Feeling relaxed and inspired, you will be taken to the San Pedro airstrip for a short flight to Belize International where you will connect with your departing flight home.

Day 1: You will be met by our friendly representative and transferred by ground to a lodge on the Belize River where you can relax and prepare for a fully packed week of Adventure. (D)

Day 2: After an early breakfast you set out for an Indiana Jones Adventure as you explore the cave of Actun Tunichil Muknal, discover hidden chambers full of Maya artifacts and remains that reveal the rituals and ceremonies of a lost world. Very active tours which includes hiking, swimming and mild climbing (B, L, D)

Day 3: Today things get a little bit more rustic and adventurous. After an early breakfast we pack and head deep into the massive Chiquibul Forest, Belize’s largest protected area. At Chiquibul, we explore an ancient cave and do a jungle hike around Las Cuevas Research Station to learn about tropical ecosystems and their ecology. To end the day we climb atop a bird tower on top of a high ridge to see the sunset over the majestic Chiquibul Forest.

Day 4: Today we head to the Raspaculo Branch, a major tributary in the Chiquibul and we will hike for a couple hours to an area where the magnificent Scarlet Macaws nest. Here we meet up with the Scarlet Six Bio monitoring Team who are striving to save the last remaining macaws in the wild of Belize. After a jungle lunch we jump into a skiff and go patrolling with the team where we can discover the wildlife of the chiquibul along the river banks. Later we prepare our jungle camps and if we have enough energy left in us we will do a night boat safari to search for crocodiles. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Rise to the myriad of bird calls in the middle of the jungle. After coffee, we will take a short bird walk around camp. With breakfast down, we head to a few known Scarlet Macaw nests for field observations. While en route, we have good chances of seeing many more birds along the river as well as Tapirs and River Otters. We return to base camp for lunch. After packing we head out for an off-road driving adventure to the south east section of the reserve. Here you will have sweeping views of the core conservation zone of the Maya Mountains as far as the eye can see. In between, we stop at some active camera traps used to monitor the Jaguar population in the reserve. By sunset we are atop the highest points in the Mountain Pine Ridge, from where we see the sun setting in the horizon. We head back to near civilization where we can enjoy a gourmet dinner and a comfortable bed. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Today after an early breakfast you pack your bags and drive for about an hour for your next adventure. Here you will start with a vigorous hike up into the foothills of the Maya Mountains to the mouth of Actun Loch Tunich sink hole which sits over 300 feet above the basin below, 200 feet above the rain forest canopy that grows out from the sink hole basin.(B,L,D) The fully trained caving guides rig a system of rappelling ropes for your descent to the basin below. The first 10 feet provides the adrenaline, the next 200 feet provides an unforgettable experience and sights to behold, the last 100 feet takes you down through the rain forest canopy.

Day 7: By now you are having a hard time waking up in the morning so after a late breakfast we will head out for our last adventure before we can relax for a day of two by the beach. Here we will zip on the longest zipline cables in Central America followed by vigorous climb to the top of the 1,000 ft. Antelope Falls and Big Drop falls where you can enjoy a breathtaking view and a refreshing swim in the azure waters. Afterwards you can rappel down to a thrilling 300 or 500 feet down the waterfalls. Day 8: Wake up to the sounds of the ocean and spend your last day relaxing by the beach, sipping piña coladas or treating yourself to a well-deserved massage. If you are up for it we can schedule some snorkeling. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Today you say good bye to Belize. We can either put you on a short flight back to the international airport or we can transfer you via ground transportation. (B)

Day 1: You will be met by our friendly representative and transferred by ground to your jungle lodge accommodations. Later that afternoon you will do a sunset birding tour by boat (D)

Day 2: Wake up to an early start as you prepare for a sunrise lagoon boat tour at the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, a world class birding destination. After a late breakfast, we will travel to the new river lagoon for a river tour to your lodge. Later afternoon birding. (B, L, D)

Day 3: After breakfast you will explore the mysterious jungle-shrouded temples of this once powerful 3000 year old civilization, the Lamanai Ruins. Watch monkeys and birds while you learn about the ancient Mayas civilization. (B,L,D)

Day 4: After breakfast you will head into the Mountains of Western Belize in search of Raptors like the Orange Breasted Falcon, Stygian Owl, Solitary Eagle and King Vultures. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Today you will wake up early as we head into the Chiquibul Forest Reserve in search for species such as the keel billed mot mot and scarlet macaws while we explore the Ancient Mayan City of Caracol (B,L,D)

Day 6: Today after light birding and breakfast we travel further south into the Bocawina National Park in search for more species to add on our list. There is also time for a short hike to swim at the waterfalls before we head to our final stop in Placencia. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Easy final day while you explore the village and beach of Placencia Village and add some sea birds to your list. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Today you pack your bags and prepare for a short commuters flight to Belize City for your home bound flight. (B)
